Somewhere in there

i am painting myself in flames
it’s dark inside
such a wasted space
but there is hope
somewhere
there is hope
somewhere in there
i am painting myself in flames
it’s dark inside
such a wasted space
but there is hope
somewhere
there is hope
somewhere in there
it was the day
when the love of her life
finally found her
she said: i love you
i love you, mr. blue
don’t you love these days
don’t you love these days
mr. blue replied
i love you
i love you, too
it was a perfect day
but then she woke up
don’t you hate your dreams
don’t you hate your dreams
(this is one for remi’s birthday - who also wrote the lyrics. i made very little changes, so mr. blue is not in love with me but her. happy birthday, remi february)
(this should be the final sketch with my travel-USB-quality. hope the next time i am on my way i will travel with something more soothing to record on.)
(sketchy and dirty sound from my USB-stick again. enjoy. or try to. i am sorry about the sound.)
(sorry for the sound again, coming straight from my USB-stick - since i am travelling and have no other recording device. any idea what i should use instead?)
(travelling. so i have no access to any recording technology other than my USB stick. so here it is, straight from the stick - with a questionable sound that i would like to stick somewhere, too…)
i took this time
to save my love
and i would take it again
i have to say
i am impressed that things just went the way you said they would
i won’t try
to understand why
i still like to see
you impressing me
you say i should show myself
you say it’s the only way
don’t look at me
don’t look at me
don’t you see?
you say you don’t understand why
i can be so brave and be so shy
don’t look at me
don’t look at me
don’t you see?
don’t roll your eyes
don’t give me this smile
let me talk just for a while
…
go on and roll your eyes
and there is this smile
but at least i had to try
